ROOM 5 IDENTITY

Room 5 is a piano bar that is known for its live music and audience interaction. The client specified that they wanted to highlight the interconnection they create between their piano and the audience. The identity uses leading lines to translate the connection and to reference the piano, a string instrument.

The Logo

The logo needed to represent connection while still referencing the piano aspect. However, the initial sketches were not creating that feeling, I decided to instead explore using an actual motif of a piano.

The primary lockup uses a piano and a heart as a motif to represent the passion the owner has for the music. Each leading line represents a value Room 5 holds, and the condensed typography mimics piano keys to bring it all together

The Components

The Room 5 Identity consists of the primary lockup, logo mark, monogram, and signature. Each one references the interconnection and piano aspect.
